Baltica Cabieses is a Professor of social epidemiology at Universidad del Desarrollo in Chile. Founder, former co-leader and current board member of Lancet Migration Latin American hub. Founder of the Chilean research network on health and migration-RECHISAM. Director of the WHO/PAHO Collaborating Centre on Capacity Building for the Health of Migrants and Refugees in Chile 2024-2028. International consultant (WHO; PAHO; OIM; IDB) on health equity, health of migrants and implementation science research/action in socially and culturally diverse communities. Board of the International Network for Research on Inequalities in Chile Health (INRICH). Editor of 9 academic books, and 8 handbooks, over 30 publicly available research reports and policy briefs. Participation in over 70 research projects in Chile and abroad -successfully led over 30 of them- and more than 220 scientific publications.
