Dr Anna Price is a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Community Child Health at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute in Australia. She thinks children are amazing, and her work is driven by a desire to make life fairer for families, especially in the early years. Anna works closely with health services, community organisations, and governments to make better use of the services and supports that already exist. This includes evaluating practical initiatives that connect families to support such as sustained nurse home visiting and financial wellbeing services. She is particularly interested in how child and family health systems work, how evidence can shape policy and practice, and how strong partnerships across sectors can improve opportunities for children and families. Anna lives on Boonwurrung Country in Melbourne-Naarm, and is raising three sons, which continually informs and shapes her perspective on children, families, and the systems that support them.
